Clean Planet Technologies (CPTech) has released a first glimpse of its upcoming Waste Plastics-to-Sustainable Aviation Fuel (P2SAF) pilot facility, sharing teaser footage of initial equipment arriving on site ahead of a planned Q1 2026 launch.
The short video hints at the next major milestone in CPTech’s SAFe-P2SAF programme, following the unveiling of the UK’s first Plastics-to-SAF technology at the SAF Global Summit earlier this year. The new facility will demonstrate the company’s proprietary process for transforming hard-to-recycle plastics into ultra-clean, low-carbon jet fuel.
While further details will be announced in due course, the teaser marks the transition from technology showcase to real-world deployment — a key step in scaling the UK’s capability for circular, non-bio feedstocks in the sustainable aviation fuel sector.
Dr Andrew Odjo, CEO of CPTech.
“This is the beginning of a very exciting chapter. We’re moving rapidly from innovation to implementation, proving how waste plastics can support the UK’s SAF ambitions. We have a couple more exciting updates to follow very shortly.”

More updates — including full facility details — will be shared as CPTech approaches the Q1 2026 commissioning window.
